Brightstar Lottery to Deploy 1,200 Retailer Pro S2 Terminals in Malaysia
LONDON, Nov. 24, 2025 — Brightstar Lottery PLC (NYSE: BRSL) (“Brightstar”) has signed a contract with Pan Malaysian Pools SDN BHD (PMP), a licensed numbers-forecast operator in Malaysia, to supply and deliver 1,200 of its next-generation “Retailer Pro S2” terminals. The move is part of PMP’s initiative to modernize its retail lottery infrastructure.
According to the companies, the Retailer Pro S2 delivers a step up in performance, reliability, and flexibility. It features a 15.6-inch full-HD, clerk-facing touchscreen powered by a high-performance processor, together with a modular ergonomic design that supports multiple player-facing displays. The terminal can accommodate a wide range of peripherals — including barcode scanners, fingerprint readers, NFC, webcams, and more — enabling retailers to offer modern, efficient, and interactive lottery services.

“Deploying Brightstar’s Retailer Pro S2 terminals will provide several added benefits for PMP, our retailers, and players,” said Tan Kong Han, PMP’s Managing Director. He added that the sophisticated terminal will help PMP provide modern experiences to players, reliable solutions to retailers, and improve both productivity and profitability — with part of the proceeds funding community initiatives such as school development programs across Malaysia.

From Brightstar’s perspective, this deal reinforces its position as a leading global lottery-technology provider. The company serves nearly 90 lottery clients and players across six continents, and is already a primary technology provider for many major lotteries worldwide. The new S2 terminals reflect Brightstar’s commitment to innovation and operational excellence in retail lottery environments.

The agreement is expected to significantly enhance the retail lottery experience in Malaysia, offering faster transaction processing, modernised interfaces, and greater flexibility for both operators and players. For PMP, the upgrade may strengthen its retail network’s competitiveness and efficiency — potentially bringing lottery services to more outlets and improving user satisfaction.
